After 18 years of providing massage in a number of different arenas ranging from physical therapy practices, top rated hospitals, and award winning spas, Shannon finds combining her love of Pilates and massage therapy most rewarding. She strives to surround herself with the best of the best, teaching Pilates and managing her own massage practice, Total Body Wellness at The Pilates Collective in Denver Colorado.
She earned her associates degree from the Colorado School of Healing Arts, specializing in Sports Massage, Neuromuscular Massage and Cranio-Sacral Therapy. She is also trained in Ashiatsu, Ashithai, and Prenatal Massage. Her passion for movement and fascination with the body continued and she completed Pilates training from The Pilates Center of Boulder in 2007.
Shannon regularly attends workshops and seminars to satisfy her passion for the work and to stay current with the latest trends in her field. She enjoys providing her clients with the most up to date treatments to help them reach their health goals. Shannon believes movement and bodywork are vital. She offers fun, encouragement, and versatility that keeps you coming back. There is no better way to improve your health and happiness and she is excited to help you get your body back to feeling great!
When Shannon isn't in the studio you can find her playing out doors with her husband and daughter, biking, hiking or just relaxing. She loves to soak up the beauty of Colorado, listen to great music and enjoy the day to day.
